I am very happy to be welcoming a new member to my family right now - though I'm not entirely sure if I'm ready to take care of him.
His name is Tokugawa he is a Betta Splendens - or a betta fish of the veil-tail variety and he is a gorgeous mix of purple and red. I'm still learning how to take proper care of the little guy, since I really don't want to kill him and I haven't had a Betta since I was like...nine or ten.
If you're lucky I'll submit a picture of him on here because he's cute...
I'm really hoping I don't mess up on taking care of him...again, I've already made a few mistakes, luckily I've kept them to nonfatal ones so far.

Summer's Over D:
Yup, well technically it's been over for like two weeks for me now. Tis very sad.
So what changes have happened since ya'll discovered I watch He-Man when I can't sleep?
Not too many, I'm back in Edinburgh, of course. And well, I've got new classes for this semester. I'm thinking I'll prepare a short story based in Aesthal - the world that's held my attention the last 2 years but before that happens I have to catch up with all my reading and homework.
Speaking of reading I'm taking archaeology, Scottish Studies and....Russian.
Russian seemed like a good language for a challenge and I've always been interested in the archaeology of North E
Considering I'm Watching He-Man...
I figured there was nothing better to do than to update this.
Let's see....I've had a far busier year than I wish to have had. Turns out when you have depression they don't just give you happy pills but it's constant check-ups and whatnot. Okay, on a serious note, I'm doing fine and since I've started the medication I'm on I've felt better about myself but it's made it harder to do anything artistic, all of my inspiration feels like its going through molasses so I've not really had much to do that would be updated on here. I've done some further development on the main piece of fiction I've been working on and started a couple of art pieces
SUMMER! I CAN SEEEEEEE YOU~
Summer's nearly here. Only one more exam to go until I've finished my first year of university....
God....THAT makes me feel old. o.o' I'm already going to be a sophomore in college....do you ever start feeling like an adult or is 'growing up' just a nice way to phrase 'paying taxes'?
Anyways, I haven't done anything artistic for a while, besides a sketch of a space turtle I need to decide if I'll finish or not. (If I do finish it ya'll can see them.)
I'll see about getting a short story or something written soon to get my creative juices flowing again. Especially since my brain feels kind of like a hard boiled egg right now. All rubbery a

Welcome to the first day of spring ya'll.
Didn't get through with my new years resolution. Apparently essays and mountains of readings have a thing or two to say about if you're trying to draw. Everything I've drawn recently has been in between words like "dessication" "inhumation" "cremation" and "assassination".
(Yes, spell check "inhumation" is a word - you need to do that before you can have an "Exhumation" so stop given me the funny red line.)
So I'm full swing on my degree. In the later part of May I'll try to be a little more active. I can't make any promises though. With all luck by May Scotland only rains and doesn't snow.
Well I
