Description

This is one of the views looking off the iron age hill fort of Dunadd at Kilmartin Valley.
The fort was once the fortress of some of the earliest kings of Scotland. It was first used in the iron age (around when the Romans were occupying further South) and was destroyed/abandoned during the early medieval period.
I was apparently playing with camera angles since this one is certainly dizzying in my perspective. I hope ya'll enjoy.
I've got this listed under landscapes because most Scottish hillforts are built in such a way as to make use of the natural rocky hills that make up the Scottish countryside due to the ancient volcanic activity in the region. So the features being seen in this photograph are most likely the natural ones, not the artificial ones.
